SHIEKH SHOES COMMUNITY CENTER RECEIVES NIKE DONATION

Shiekh Shoes had a treat last Thursday as Nike unveiled a very special surprise to our founder, Shiekh Elahi. Prior to a tour of the Shiekh Shoes Compton Community Center, where Nike representatives met with children, answered questions , showed off a collage of sports figures wearing Nike shoes and enjoyed lunch, the brand presented a check for $20,000 for the center.

The donation is a token of the long-time partnership and friendship between Nike and Shiekh Shoes and comes as a sign of faith in the efforts Shiekh Shoes has made in the Compton community. Mr. Shiekh and team have worked hard to create a safe place for children in Compton to learn, play and grow, and these funds will help give kids a chance to play sports and live healthy, active lifestyles. We are excited to see what initiatives Mr. Shiekh has up his sleeve for this very generous donation by Nike!
