Shiekh Shoes invited 100 kids from Compton Unified School District and their families to the Shiekh Shoes Community Center on Saturday, Aug. 16 for a back-to-school party hosted with the help of Converse. From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., participants danced, enjoyed lunch and received school supplies, including backpacks, paper, pencils and pens, a day planner and more. Each child moved on to receive a brand new pair of Converse sneakers.
