Air Jordan Sneaker Releases Delayed
It is a very interesting time in the world right now. Of course it is very unfortunate about what is happening but it is something that we haven’t quite experienced before. Back when the Swine Flu was going around at an alarming rate, not much was done to prevent the spread because it wasn’t really seen as too serious of a threat. Unfortunately people died but at a rate well below 1%. The statistics about any of these cases are left to be interpreted by the reader because of how wide the range of these estimates can be.
A World Affected
The Coronavirus has essentially put the whole world at a pause. Any vacations are to be reconsidered, any events are most likely cancelled, and any gatherings are likely to be put on hold. Current estimates given by the President of the United States state that normal everyday life activities will resume in early July. Others estimate that late May will be the time that society begins to function again. Just to give a reference point, the Chinese struggled with the Coronavirus for a little less than 2 months. Reports in China of the Coronavirus took over in late January and it appears that the worst is definitely behind them in China. They have seen a huge drop in new cases and they seemed to have stabilized that rate.
Of course things can still change in China and the reason they recovered well so far is because of their strict shutdown policies that were introduced to contain the spread. The US doesn’t really seem that interested in instilling nationwide lockdowns so you can expect the virus to hit harder and faster. Honestly by mid April we should experience the peak of the virus here in the US. But the return to normal activities could be around early May.
Delayed Air Jordan Sneaker Releases
Anyways, sorry to go so far off topic. Just thought I’d give my insight on the matter. As of March 17, 2020 there are 6 high profile Air Jordan Retro releases that were postponed due to the Coronavirus. The reasons that they were delayed mainly have to deal with logistics, not with spreading contaminated materials. The problem that Nike faces at the moment is that shipping is increasingly hard with this virus going around. Many of their manufacturing sites around the world have felt the hit of the virus. Because of this they are left shorthanded when it comes to producing and shipping out products to other retailers. Even though some retailers already have some of these releases, it made more sense to delay some Air Jordan sneaker releases until a date that they believed every retailer would have the sneaker.

Style ID: CZ1786 001 Colorway: Black/Red-Purple Retail Price: $200 Release Date: May 30th, 2020 The Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Top 3’ release is the next on our most anticipated delays. We love this sneaker because of the history behind it. This delayed release combines ‘Fire Red’, ‘Metallic’, and ‘Grape’ in order to make this colorful sneaker. All three of these sneakers are very present in the design of the release. The grape tongue and the red mid sole mark clear indications for both of those colorways. ‘Metallic’ is the most apparent colorway in this sneaker. The entire body of the new release is dedicated to the ‘Metallic’ release. It is a very interesting delayed Air Jordan sneaker release that many sneakerheads will be excited about.
