Are The Creeper Sneakers Coming Soon?
With each release of PUMA’s hit collab with Rihanna, anticipation and lust for the highly-coveted The Creeper grows stronger. Towards the end of 2014, it was announced that our favorite bad-gal would become the women’s creative director and global brand ambassador for PUMA. The announcement was followed by the initial release of The Creeper in September 2015. Rih offered the suede sneakers in three colorways; black and white/gum sole, black on black/ black gum sole, and tan on tan/gum sole. The hype surrounding the shoes paid off, as all pairs were sold out almost instantly!

Fans were on the edge of their seats when they learned The Creeper would be released once more in November 2015. The second roll-out offered options in pink/green, white/white, and dark/light blue suede with the traditional gum sole. PUMA also expanded the sizing to include larger women’s sizes and even men’s options. Once again, the sneakers were another sell-out success!

While all of Rihanna’s shoe releases with PUMA have been a hit, The Creeper remains the most wearable style for the everyday. Does this mean that sneakerheads and fans around the globe will have another opportunity to snag a pair to add to their collection? We’re not quite sure, but rumors have been swirling that a third release is in the works. Various dates in May 2016 have been popping up on the web as “could-be” release dates for The Creeper. New colorway schemes have also been circulating on fashion sites. The most prominent theory is that The Creeper release will feature three new colorways; black on black on black, white on white on white, and green on green on gum.
