Once you’ve been able to balance in position, you’ll want to practice taking off. To accelerate, riders must stand up straight and shift your body weight forward and gently. Be sure to keep your eyes forward and focus straight ahead to help you stay balanced. Most reviewers of these hoverboards say that after about 30 minutes of practice, you should be able to confidently travel around on it. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it, you’ll be zipping around at almost 10 miles per hour!

This toy for all ages takes about one hour to charge which will get you an average of 11-14 miles of ride time. These Stealth hoverboards also have built-in Bluetooth technology and speakers that allow you to stream directly to the STEALTHboard and play music while you ride. Be careful not to go over the 250 pound weight limit though! Dismounting from a swegway will require some practice too. Once the device has come to a complete stop, carefully step off one foot at a time. Sounds simple right? I want to emphasize that your feet must be perfectly still, because if you move even the slightest, the hoverboard will likely slip from under your feet.
