Nike channels Nickelodeon with the new release of the kids Nike KD VI “Rugrats.”
For just about anyone born in the 80s and 90s, there’s an secret unfailing love for the animated t.v. series with Tommy Pickles and his posse of playmates. Whether you favorited Tommy’s courageous leadership, his BFF Chucky and his scaredy cat tendencies or the duo of Phil & Lil and their obsession with all things related to insects and earthworms, you loved watching the gang go on their wild adventures–which always ended up with them causing some kind of mess that they amazingly never got in trouble for. In homage to the hit cartoon series, Nike gives today’s generation of kiddos the chance to be bold like the Nickelodeon gang in rocking the new “Rugrats” KD VI.
Maintaining the same sleek low-top design, these KD VIs are wrapped in Laser Purple with a few pops of Team Orange at the lateral side Swoosh, tongue and KD logo at the heel. They’re embedded with Flywire technology for the ultimate flexibility. Hints of Sport Turquoise can be spotted throughout the lacing system and rubber outsole, and they’re made complete with smooth interior cushioning that is printed with quirky signature graphics from the Nick cartoon.
Too bad this is only a GS release, because we’re sure there’s plenty of 80s and 90s babies that would cop these in a heartbeat.
