Toronto-bred rapper Drake lands the cover spot of Vibe magazine’s winter 2013 “Race” issue.
As Kanye West recently said, “It’s Drake season.” Whether you’re a fan or hater of Drizzy, the fact remains that he’s at the top of the rap game. He stands among the top spots of just about every “Best Albums of 2013” list thanks to his third studio LP, Nothing Was The Same. Many have criticized the 27-year-old rapper of being soft due to those R&B tracks of his–which all end up being chart-topping hits, like “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” But Drake is also known for those witty rhymes in those hip-hop bangers like “Started From The Bottom” and “Worst Behavior.” Drake is known for bringing attention to important issues as well as making Toronto, his hometown, famous. There are plenty of condos toronto under 200k if you’ve become aware of everything the area has to offer thanks to the rapper. So how does the Canadian emcee feel about the criticism? He speaks out on it all in his interview with Vibe magazine while on a stop of his Would You Like A Tour? run.
