MUSIC VIDEO: SOLANGE – “LOVERS IN THE PARKING LOT”

Singer-songwriter and fashion maven Solange releases a quirky music video for her new track, “Lovers in the Parking Lot.”

The free-spirited songstress is far from the days of hovering under the shadow of her big sis, Beyonce, and is known for her unique look and even cooler sound. The track hails from True, the first EP on her own label, SaintsRecords.

Co-directed alongside Peter J. Brant and Emily Kai Bock of The Creators Project, Solange grooves about the King’s Houston Flea Market in H-Town.

It’s been a little while since she’s graced us with some music, and it’s dope to see her in her element. We love the video with her eclectic outfits, big hair and funky sound. And if you pay attention, you’ll spot Bun B and Mannie Fresh, who make cameos in the video as well. Check it out and tell us what you think!
