Supreme x Nike Air Force 1: Nike Reigns Supreme
Style ID: CU9225 001 Black / CU9225 100 White Colorway: Black/Black – White/White Retail Price: $96 Release Date: March 05, 2020 As Michael Scott once famously said, “Oh my God! Okay, it’s happening. Everybody stay calm. STAY (bleep) CALM!”. I believe this is how most of us are definitely feeling. The Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration we have been hearing rumors about for so long finally has a release date. March 5th, 2020 will be the day that Supreme, a powerhouse in the streetwear industry, will make its mark on the perennial Nike Air Force 1.
Supreme x Nike Air Force 1
Of course, Supreme isn’t really rocking the boat with their design but who cares, we just want that little red tag on there. The only difference that you’ll see between a regular Nike Air Force 1 and a Supreme pair is the little heel tag and the shoe laces. Everything else about the iconic sneaker will remain exactly the same. Lots of hype for such a simple design right?
But that doesn’t matter, we all want them anyways. And the best thing about the release is that they are reported to have a retail price of $96 which is extremely below the original report of the retail price being $250. This means that we won’t have to break the bank to get our hands on one of the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 pairs. One might be thinking at this point that we don’t have much of a chance of being able to buy these sneakers on the retail market. But you’re wrong.
Supreme has announced that this collaboration will be restocking frequently meaning that they are likely to overload the market. This is great news for those of us who simply want to wear these sneakers. But this is terrible news for those who collect sneakers or profitize releases. More likely than not, the resale of the sneakers will not be too much higher than retail price. The demand for the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers will be high but so will the supply meaning that the resale price should be fairly close to the retail price.
So don’t stress. Relax. Don’t camp out. Sleep in. If you happen to miss this release you’ll have your chance again in a few months. And you’ll have another chance a few months after that and so on and so on. Let us know what you think of the collaboration in the comments below and if you’ll try to buy them this release or the next!
