2013 has given us a ton of fly kicks. And even though the year is close to coming to an end, we’re glad that we can add another style to our list of must-haves with today’s release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Laney.”
The sneaker maintains that timeless Air Jordan 1 silhouette that we all know and love, but has a twist. It can be considered as a uniquely special release as it is inspired by Michael Jordan’s humble beginnings at Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. The sneaker holds its same high-top frame with a two-toned upper consisting of Varsity Maize leather and is accented by Game Royal suede detailing. These OGs are finished with the Air Jordan logo at the side, an all-white midsole, and a star-embossed rubber outsole.
