Converse brings the Aero Jam back! The much-anticipated Cons Collection from Converse has officially dropped at shiekhshoes.com and in select Shiekh Shoes stores! Blending the old with the new, Converse revamps the classic Aero Jam sneakers that NBA legend Larry Johnson had us all going crazy over back in the ’90s. And now in 2014, the legacy lives on with the debut of the brand’s remastered Cons Collection.
If you don’t remember these kicks, we’re sure you remember Johnson in those infamous commercials featuring the coveted kicks. Madea had nothing on the b-balling, gold-tooth rocking “Grandmama” who could cross you up and finish you off with a mean dunk. Converse brings the Aero Jams back, first in a “Peacock Blue” colorway inspired by Johnson’s career with the Charlotte Hornets, and then there’s also the new “Smoke Pearl” colorway for the minimalist types.
